PRESS RELEASE
Love of Art & Murder - From Mystic to the City of Steeples
Inspired by a True Art Crime

Where the Beauty of Art and the Villains in the Art World Collide.

In Love of Art & Murder, desire sparks mad ideas. Artists and art lovers hope for fortune and fame, yet greediness can become villainous, and this dangerous love of art can lead to murder. The mystery is driven by the endearing relationships among artists, friends, and witty yet pragmatic investigators, who lead us to a psychologically twisted yet meaningful conclusion.

Love of Art & Murder takes us behind the scenes of the art world and into renowned museums, galleries, and performance halls. The villains who manipulate this intriguing world are explored, and clues to an art heist are recounted in this creative interpretation of a world-renowned true art crime.

In the City of Steeples, New London, CT - August
The summer morning breeze off the Thames River caught a blonde wisp of Marilyn's hair, touched her cheek, and kissed her hot-pink lips. Yet, her lovely green eyes were frozen by her partner in death.

Across the street is the flamboyant wine sommelier Georgi Algarve. He sweeps the front sidewalk of his Vinho Verde Wine Bar and looks up to see his friend Marilyn Maroney on her balcony and lets out a blood-curdling scream. She was impaled by the spear of her warrior goddess sculpture, Athena.

Detective Morrison and Medical Examiner, Dr. Angela Storm, are determined to discover if Marilyn's death was an accident or homicide, but there is one catch....

Georgi and his sleuthing compatriot, Roxanne Samson, are convinced they can find the culprit inside the art community. They immediately drill their way into Detective Morrison's heart - via heartburn and turn the investigation in a new direction.
